An introduction to the role of the Named Veterinary Surgeon in a research establishment.

The aim of this course is to equip new Named Veterinary Surgeons with the knowledge and skills needed to function effectively as an NVS from day 1. Taking place over a period of 2 days and using a problem-based approach, you will explore the role of the NVS and how to utilise your existing skills in the NVS environment. You will be introduced to sources of information, advice and support to aid in development of the required skills.

This course will give you the opportunity to discuss and analyse real life scenarios and consider how to manage them, preparing you for life as a named veterinary surgeon.
